Trailing pothos, string-of-hearts, and ferns for shelves, hooks, and high spaces.

    Hanging Plants

Hanging and trailing plants use the space most rooms ignore — above eye level, along shelf edges, and down from ceiling hooks. Pothos, string-of-hearts, and trailing ferns are forgiving choices that drape quickly without much fuss. Pair them with a hanging planter that drains well, and remember that warm air rises: plants up high dry out faster, so check their soil more often than the ones at floor level.
